James served with the 19th (County of London Battalion) London Regiment and towards the end of hostilities with the 18th (Service) Battalion of the Gloucester Regiment which was formed at Clacton on the 20th June 1918 from cadre of the 5th Oxford and Bucks L.I. *CR On long ribbons, good condition.
