In exceptional condition for a large four-thousand year-old pottery jar with the only repair being to the vulnerable mouth. This jar has been tested by Oxford Authentications, the ONLY testers of ancient pottery accepted by ALL major dealers, auction houses and museums worldwide, and the Thermoluminescence Analysis Report that will accompany this item is shown; this confirms the date of manufacture as "between 3,400 and 5,200 years ago". Jars such as this look superb in a modern setting as well as in any serious collection of ancient Chinese pottery.
