A bust of Diana, 181cm high overall, the base 42.5cm wide
The Diane Chasseresse Bust is modelled after the full size Roman marble copy of the Greek statue by Leochares of Diana the Huntress. It shows the unique beauty and attitude that accompanied Diana. The original marble was displayed at Fountainebleau in the 16th century and is now in the Louvre in Paris. This piece is often paired with the Apollo Belvedere Bust.
