A late 18th century brass barrelled flintlock blunderbuss belt pistol, 8½” overall, bell mouth barrel 4½” x 1-1/8” at the muzzle, the octagonal breech engraved “London” and with London proofs; the flat stepped lock signed “Twigg” in script; walnut fullstock with rounded chequered butt, plain brass mounts, 3” steel belt hook, and brass tipped ramrod. GWO & basically GC (lock and belt hook refinished, patched repair to fore end). Plate 3
