Pair of Japanese cloisonne vases, Meiji (1868-1912), shouldered ovoid form decorated with chrysanthemum against a deep blue ground, height 23cm
Provenance: Glade Antiques (Oriental Specialists, Buckinghamshire). Purchased 2000 at a cost of £800.

The vases are generally in good condition. There are some fine surface scratches visible when closely examined, but generally they are free of bruising and other damage.
