Pair of Chinese porcelain cylindrical vases, possibly Kangxi period, both hand painted in the Imari palette with flowers and scrolling foliage, each 28.5cm high
Vase one - Has a large section around the top rim which has been broken off and reglued. There are several chips around the base. Vase two - There is a small impact chip just inside the top rim. There are two large hairline cracks which run from the shoulder of the vase and stop approximately 5cm above the footrim. These are opposite sides of the body. There are two more cracks which run off of one of the larger cracks. There is also a 6cm wide impact hairline crack which runs around the footrim
