Minton Secessionist stick stand, decorated in blues, oranges and greens in Art Nouveau style, printed marks, date code for 1908, numbered 63, height 57cm
The base has been restored. Previous cracks can be seen. Restoration and subsequent overpainting around the footrim. Craquelure throughout the lower half of the piece. There is a hair crack running from the rim approx. 12cm long. this is visible on the inside but not clearly visible on the outside. Similarly there is a smaller hair crack approx. 3cm on the rim, again visible inside but not so clear on the outside.
