A VERY GOOD QUALITY 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD WORK TABLE / LAMP TABLE / SIDE TABLE, the top surface has a wonderful Rosewood grain to it and sits above a single frieze drawer – with key, beneath this is a drop drawer that is nicely covered in fine floral and foliage material to the exterior and wood lined within – a mechanism in the frieze drawer holds the drop drawer in place and can be opened separately by pulling the mechanism upwards. All raised on a pair of graduated fluted columns; one on each side that are finished with beautiful carved acanthus leaf collars and sitting on a pair of platform bases that are raised on scrolling feet & castors.
