Two unusual 20th century fans, the first a wood brisé painted black, the sticks shaped and pierced, formed in pairs, the centre of each pair inset with painted silk, mostly with floral designs, the ribbon located just below the upper sections, guard approx. 22.5cm; together with a celluloid cockade brisé fan for a young girl, the sticks retained withing the handle when closed, height approx. 19cm (2)
