19THC ENGLISH DESSERT SERVICE. A 19thc dessert service, each piece painted with exotic birds and flowers and with shell shaped motifs to the rim, pattern 492. Comprising a large pedestal dish (34cms across), four rectangular shaped dishes (29cms across), and sixteen plates (22cms diameter). Each with a painted number to the base, '492'. (21). *Condition: All of the items have wear to the rim in places, some more than others.
Large dish, generally good
Four dishes, one with large chunk out of the rim and hairline crack, the others seem generally fine
Plates, one broken and riveted, one with small chip to rim, one with hairline crack and small chip to rim, one cracked right across, one cracked right across and riveted, one very dirty with black marks on the back, one with two chips to the underside of the rim, the others seem in reasonable condition.
