Ladies 1980's, CiBi black and gold suede leather belted coat, made to measure, size medium.
From research and comments on Vintage Fashion Guild by Gina Bradbury, daughter of Chrissi Bradbury who opened her first Couture shop in the North of England in 1979. Chrissi specialised in suede and leather. Creating classic “fabric suits” in gloving suede and leather. A first of her time. She then created accompanying shirts in beautiful Swiss silk. Gina joined the family business which went from strength to strength (no backers!!) and then moved to London to expand initially the wholesale side of the business but then preferring dealing directly with the end user, opened a retail shop in Knightsbridge. Mum ran design, production and a Sheffield boutique and
Gina ran London working from mums creations. Julia joined the business for a short time but went off and successfully broke into telly. We finally closed both shops in 1997. Chrissi Bradbury is the mother of Gina and Julia Bradbury a respected reporter on UK TV programs such as Watchdog and Country File.
