An early 19th century relief moulded creamware jug, decorated to collar in relief with fruiting vines, above stiff leaves to the ovoid body painted in orange, blue and green, 17cm tall, dated 1815 to spout, and with initials C S.
Scratch marks, and or hairline fractures within inside of the pot. The handle has some damage where it meets the inside of the pot. The underside has a few cracks and the outside has a few chips. There is some crazing on the underside. On the handle’s glaze has been chipped. Dull ring.
