Brigid Brady, Irish Citizen Army, City Hall Garrison, her Irish Transport Workers Union red hand badge. The red enamel badge emblazoned "IT - 1913 - WU", maker's mark of Quinn, Belfast verso. Brigid Brady was a first cousin of Padraic and Willie Pearse. An employee of Jacobs she played an active role in the 1913 Lockout and the subsequent organisation of the Irish Citizen Army.
