A Derby tea bowl and saucer, painted by Zachariah Boreman, in polychrome enamels and wash with picturesque views, gilt leaf and blue bands, bordered by broad interlaced and linear gilt friezes, dentil borders, crown, crossed batons and D mark in puce, pattern no. 86, gilder no.2 for Staples numbered 4 in puce for William Yates, the saucer 13.5cm diam, mark numbered 2 in puce for Joseph Staples, c.1785
