A rare C19th naive watercolour of Brisbane, Australia, showing the hills and river, unsigned but inscribed verso "Brisbane about 1868-74, prob. from Bishopsborough, written on back of picture, also painted by nephew of Bishop Tufnell, first Bishop of Brisbane, presented through (his sister?) by Mrs Wansborough, late daughter of Bishop Tufnell"; the Rt. Rev. Edward Wyndham Tufnell was an Anglican Priest and first Anglican Bishop of Brisbane in Queensland, he later returned to England in 1874 becoming vicar of Felpham, near Bognor Regis, 35 x 24cm
