An assembled group of four Chinese pale celadon jade figures, 18th/19th century, the first a group of two boys holding sprigs of lotus and lingzhi fungus 6.2cm high, the second a boy holding a sprig of lotus, with a russet skin to the back of the figure, 6cm high, the third Li Tieguai holding his iron crutch with a gourd at his side issuing smoke and a bat, 6cm high and the last a boy holding a sprig of lingzhi fungus, 6.7cm high, displayed on two later wood 'rock-work' stands, total height approximately 19cm high

Provenance - the former owner collected jades and snuff bottles in the 1960s and early 1970s while living and working in Hong Kong.

All of the figures have some remnants of tack and glue to the bases, all with natural inclusions to the stone but no chips or cracks detected. The wood stands do not match and the wooden trees and section of rock work have been re-glued to the tops
