Brussels lace, Point d'Angleterre: a very fine and intricate lace fan, a mix of bobbin lace and fine needle lace fillings with the small flowers and raised centres indicative of this type of lace, with particularly good fillings within swags and along the upper border, the leaf of hand made net, mounted a l'anglaise on blonde/ resin, completely unadorned, the ribs in the same substance offsetting the lace in an elegant fashion. Guard approx. 25.5 cm, contained in a card fan box (fan + box)
