Boer War period Essex Imperial Yeomanry Horse Feed Bucket, circa 1900, black leather, coat-of-arms to the front with "COUNTY OF ESSEX" in a ribbon banner below, base stamped with a Broad Arrow plus boxed 'NORRIS / Product' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' leather supple, some loss to stitching and rubbing to the crest. SE Norris & Co Ltd of Dagenham, Essex, were tanners and manufacturers of leather items who were granted several military contracts through to the mid-20th Century.
