A Chinese porcelain famille rose hat stand, early 20th century, of reticulated, hexagonal form, painted with a bird perched on a flowering rose branch, three sides with calligraphy, a wax seal and printed seal mark to base, 11in. (28cm.) high, chip to rim and small hairline. Chip to top corner of one side of the vase, just below the rim. Small hairline crack above one pierced hole. Wear to gilding.
