DE COLONS & CO/PONDICHERY" FAC (v. fine - "4" in Rowe, only recorded for 1848), 1843 E from Reunion to Nantes where it was forwarded to London then redirected to Belgium having an assortment of postmarks inc. a difficult to decipher Nantes FAC (possibly unrecorded), 1854 EL from St. Denis (contents & endorsement) to Bordeaux but posted in Mauritius with rare boxed "COLONIES/&c.ART.13." accountancy mark (v. fine) on the front & oval "PACKET LETTER/MAURITIUS" datestamp, 1843 St. Denis to Marseilles but forwarded in Pondicherry with blue oval "A.F.DE COLONS/PONDICHERRY."
