A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE, 3407, 1920, from a Taff Vale Railway Class A 0-6-2T No 406 which entered TVR stock in November 1920. When the TVR and its engines were absorbed by the GWR in 1922, it became GWR 393 and was rebuilt with standard GWR boiler at Caerphilly Works in May 1930. Allocated to Cardiff Cathays by January 1948 and later Merthyr, Barry and Abercynon from where it was withdrawn on 13 May 1957 and cut up at Swindon Works. Cast brass, 5¾"x4", in ex loco condition.
