Four good evening bags c 1900,all with decorative silver metal frames: the first, in pink velvet with rounded lower edge, is extensively worked with cut steel beads, a sun-ray design back and front, culminating in a frill of looped steel beads to the sides, lined, the shaped frame with press-button opening having frolicking cherubs and flowers, silver chain; a second bag, in plain black velvet, with velvet strap and decorative corded tassel, has an embossed frame with several scenes, a boat in full sail passing a lighthouse, a smaller yacht, a windmill, a rowing boat, and flowers; the third bag of green velvet, with scattered steel beads, is further decorated with small conical shells to the front, the silver chain and frame both with pierced detail; and a black net bag, with steel frame in relief, bead chain, metal beads to the bag and fringing

Some loss to the beads to the chain fitted to the final bag, which is probably not the original.

From a major German collection formed over the past 45 years. This applies to all the bags - good used condition.
