Property of a gentleman - Stefan Nowacki for Lynton Porcelain Company, Derby - a porcelain coffee can & saucer, with painted panel depicting a naval sailing warship and other shipping at sea, signed to the panel, on turquoise & white 'jewelled' gilt decorated navy blue ground (2). Footnote - Stefan Nowacki worked as a painter & gilder at the Royal Crown Derby works. He left in 1980 to establish his own company, Lynton Porcelain Company, in Derby. Condition - excellent.
