A LARGE LEATHER COSTREL, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1700. Of tall barrel-form, with sloping shoulders pierced for a leather thong, stitched seams, scratched initials 'RV' to one end and traces of polychrome (mainly blue) decoration, 28cm high, 22cm wide.
