GB - quality used collection from 1841 to 1913 in stockbook, emphasis on QV stamps where good condition and scope were the main collecting concerns. Examples are - 1841 1d Red Ivory head (SG8h), 1841 2d Blue (SG13, 14 all Plate 3), SG 14f (Maltese Cross No1 cancel), 1850 Henry Archer perforation trial (SG16b). Various 1854/7 1d and 2d issues (SG17, 18, 19, 20, 20a, 21) as well as perf 14 types (SG22, 23, 23a, 24, 24a, 25). Large Crown (SG26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35), 1861 letter type (SG42). 1d Red Plates complete except for 77 and 225. 2d Blue Plates 7 to 15. 1870 halfpenny rose-red Plates 1 to 20 (minus Plate 9). A good spread of remaining QV eg SG80 to 82, 84, 90, 141 Plates 3-19, etc. Later Kings stamps much weaker. A must view lot with very high cat value. (Qty)
