John Harper for Shebeg Pottery, Isle of Man, an Aberdeen Angus bull, painted mark 'Harper Shebeg I.O.M. AA Society Approved', 16.5cm high, with original detail card. John Harper is the winner of an open National sculpture prize for the making of a horse-racing trophy for Aintree. He specialises in the depiction of rural and agriculture and people and devotes a large part of his time to the modelling of pedigree cattle.
