A 19TH CENTURY TOWER MARKED 1842 PATTERN PERCUSSION CARBINE. With a 54cm damascened barrel, c. 14.4mm at the muzzle, with fore and end sights and articulated rammer below. With percussion firing action, the side plate marked with a crown and 1860 (perhaps) over Tower. The other side with metal slide and two rings to prevent dropping the weapon, with full length walnut stock and forestock, stamped 6/179. 94cm overall.
