£50
A Caughley porcelain coffee pot and cover, circa. 1775, of typical form, decorated in the 'fisherman and cormorant' pattern, to a cell diaper border, printed 'Sx' to base, 22.3cm (at fault), along with two further late 18th century tea bowls, each with ogee form rims and fitzhugh borders (at fault) (3)
The coffee pot shows a 7mm long firing crack to the top handle joint, but appears otherwise to be in good condition. The domed cover shows a rivet repair across the top, and various losses around the rim. One of the tea bowls is broken and shows a further hairline crack to the larger section. The unbroken bowl appears to be in good overall condition, showing expected firing marks and small glazing faults. Please see photos.
