An Imperial German Artillery Officer's Sword, the plated blade having early Eickhorn mark and etched on both sides with panels of foliage, trophies and the German eagle, and with blued panels depicting a horse-drawn field gun team in action and “2.Westf. Feldart.Reg. No.22”, the steel stirrup hilt with traces of plating and stamped “22.A,3,29”, with wire-bound black grip, in its plain steel scabbard. GC (slight rusting to hilt and scabbard, which have lost virtually all of their original finish)
