A HARVEY'S PATENT PERCUSSION REVOLVER, FIRST MODEL, NUMBER 3675. With a 13.5 cm octagonal barrel engraved to the top 'Harvey's Patent 3675' With six shot revolving chamber with various proof marks, percussion cap hammerless firing action with sliding safety. With decorative foliate engraved plates, trigger guard and butt plate. With a finely cross hatched stock with 'Saw-grip' handle.
Harvey was an Exeter based gunmaker who was granted the patent for this pistol with an in-line hidden hammer action. Some sources suggest very few 1st Model examples exist.
