ZITHER - an early 20th century 6-string rosewood banjo, cased, L95cm
Banjo is in overall good condition, there is however 1 string missing, and other strings may have been replaced, there are a few minor scrapes and nicks in the neck of the banjo, there is a very small split in the wood towards the top of the neck of the banjo, there are also some minor splits near where the neck joins the body of the banjo, the body of the banjo itself is in good condition and again there are surface scrapes and scratches consistent with age and use, the satinwood beading there is 1 small section missing on the underside of the banjo where the body joins the neck, there is also 1 strip of beading missing on the underside along the crease of the body joining the neck, case is in well-used condition, there is a section missing at the top of the casing and there are significant signs of age and wear
