A LATE GEORGE III SAUCEBOAT, maker Langlands & Robertson, no date letter, cut duty mark c.1791, the plain oval bowl with undulating crimped rim, acanthus leaf sheathed double "C" scroll handle and raised upon three stepped hoof feet with escallop shell terminals, 6" wide, 3ozs 3dwts (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT)
One side engraved with initials, both sides with thin panels where engraving polished out, light gauge anyway, marks readable but mis-stamped, no splitting
