CLARICE CLIFF ART DECO JUG - NASTURTIUM, & SUSIE COOPER JUG. Shape Number 564, a George jug with a ridged body and painted in the 'Nasturtium' design. Moulded mark '564 George', and printed marks 'Bizarre by Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery, Nasturtium'. 17cms high. Also with a Susie Cooper Art Deco jug painted with bands of colour, 13cms high. (2).
Clarice Cliff, General crazing, there appears to be a small firing crack on the inside (1cms long), possibly with a small hairline running from it, couple of small grazes to the rim, there is a small indentation to the rim near the handle - possibly covered over.
Susie Cooper, a little discolouration around the rim and the odd mark inside, rings nicely.
