A mixed group of ceramics, comprising two Derby porcelain figures, 18th century, the first of a gentleman bagpiper, seated with a hound to his feet and bocage behind, on a raised pierced base picked out in gilt and turquoise, 18cm high; the second, of a female shepherdhess placing a garland of flowers around the neck of a lamb, patch marks to base, 18cm high (hat and neck restored); together with a Continental Samson-type model of Mars, early 20th century, modelled as a Centurion after Derby, unmarked, 18.5cm high; a pair of small German porcelain figures, 20th century, 12.5cm high; a Victorian documentary jug, painted with flowers, named to 'Mr J Downing, 1847', further decorated in gilt with implements of his carpenter trade, 20cm high (crudely repaired, a.f); sold together with a Mdina glass paperweight and one further millefiore paperweight
