A pair of fine 19th century Persian Islamic brass floor lamps, Mamluke revival, elaborately engraved and pierced all over with Kufic calligraphic text, scrolling vines, palmettes and stylised cloud bands, of knoped column form with flared mouth, on a spreading circular base, each top rim 15.5cm, 34 by 99cm high overall.
