A GEORGIAN MAHOGANY BUREAU, third quarter 18th century, the fallfront enclosing a stepped and waved walnut lined interior with stringing, the central door opening to a chequered and mirrored interior and flanked by box drawers, three small drawers below over two short and two long drawers with brass bale handles, on moulded base and bracket feet with wooden castors, 37 1/2" x 20 1/2" x 43" (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)

Attractive interior in very good condition bar some ink stains to floor. Minor shrinkage split to fall, some fading/scratching, and losses to edge moulding. The fascia with losses to veneers of rails and to edge moulding of some drawers although some of same are loose in a drawer. Repair to front of right short drawer.
