With 2 typed pages of family history for Ian Alexander Murray, born Midmar 27/3/20, 1938-40 maize and cattle farming in Southern Rhodesia, commissioned from Cadet in Royal Artillery 5/7/42, served in India, Iran, North Africa, Sicily and Italy, relinquished his commission 6/12/45 on appt to Southern Rhodesia Forces, 1946-80 Farm Manager S Rhodesia and served as Senior Section Leader in BSAP Reserve, 1979 awarded Legion of Merit for service to the community, was chairman or director of range of agricultural concerns and associations.
