A collection of 101x stereoscopic cards (48 of which are photographed) from World War One published by Realistic Travels of London, Cape Town, Bombay, Melbourne and Toronto, with views from various war zones – the Dardanelles, South Africa, Persia, France and Belgium, including a trapped German submarine being destroyed, bomb damage, victory parades in London, captured Germans on the Somme, an observation balloon and warships etc. The first photo shows troops at Passchendaele, Turkish troops defeated by Allenby, casualties being carried to safety past tanks, attending to wounded at Ypres, British soldiers retreating across the Crozat Canal, a soldier falling victim to a booby trap, the British charging German lines in the Balkans, Germans driven out of their defences on the Hindenburg Line, fallen soldiers, the evacuation of Gallipoli, the British Red Cross in the field and Whippet tanks penetrating German lines at Morcourt. All in good condition.
