Provenance: The vendor states "My best friend’s wife, Janet, used to work for a large contract catering company as hospitality manager and looked after the catering and hospitality functions at TV–am back in the day.
Bowie was doing an Interview in 1990 which went out live on air in Feb or March. He was touring that year with the Sound & Vision Tour.
Janet wrote my name and my then wife’s name at the top of the compliment slip and managed to find a moment to ask if he would sign it for me (whilst he was in the hospitality suite), which he duly did. And she gave the autograph to me as a birthday present !"
