Body with white poly finish. Finish in good condition and doesn't appear to be too thick.
Neck with 64 period stamp. Neck nicely worn to back giving a nice playing feel. Decals very clean, although I would suggest original. Refret and frets in good condition. Nut may be original. Neck straight. Ever so slight V profile. Brazilian rosewood board in good shape (CITES certified)
Tuners original aside from the G tuner which looks a lot cleaner than the others so may well be a replacement.
Lower strap button original, upper button may be later.
Guard appears original. Usual split through the neck pickup height screw.
Knobs appear to be correct.
Jack plate appears to be correct.
Bridge, saddles and block appear correct. Trem arm appears to be old, but cannot guarantee original.
Pickups appear original. Pickups covers appear to be very bright and may not be original.
Volume pot replaced. Tone pots date to 1964.
Switch replaced with a 5 way. There is an old three way switch in the case which appears original.
Back plate is an oversized replacement, which means there are now extra screw holes to fit. There is another cavity back plate included in the case that appears to be original.
Old period Fender black tolex case with orange lining.
Personal viewing strongly advised for buyer to satisfy themselves with the condition and originality
