WW2 Scarce Unusual Beaded and Ribbed Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knife. Good scarce double edged spear point blade, with the unusual feature of ????? to the forte. The hilt with straight oval cross guard, the grip with beaded and ribbed design. Housed in original dark brown leather scabbard with rounded Parkerised chape, retaining leather tangs, elasticised strap A/F. Blade length 17 cm. Retaining some of the Parkerised finish to the grip, no evidence that the nut to the pommel has ever been removed. GC
