CHARLES WHITING COLOURED PRINTING - MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKETS: Two very fine & attractive embossed tickets to the 1834 "ROYAL MUSIC FESTIVAL" at Westminster Abbey. One for the "FOURTH REHEARSAL" on June 26th costing "HALF-A-GUINEA" - white embossing with green lettering on plain card; the other for the "FOURTH PERFORMANCE" on July 1st for "ONE GUINEA" - white embossing with green lettering on buff coloured card. V. pronounced & well-preserved embossing, especially of the coat of arms - fine examples of Whiting's work. (2)
