A 17TH CENTURY COMMEMORATIVE SILK CUSHION. decorated with steel pins forming the date 1674 above a crown and initials for Charles II and an oval panel containing the initial 'H', purportedly for Hollingsworth, the family name for the once owners of Barton Mere, nr Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, surrounded by various initials and dates, most probably commemorating a marriage between 'CH' and 'FH' and birth dates of their children, 24cm x 23cm, within an ebonised and glazed display case and paperwork, 32cm x 30cm. *CR Minor losses to material to the front, heavy discolouration throughout, losses to pins on reverse.
