A Belgian 6 shot 9mm Pliers patent double action wedge frame pinfire revolver, c 1866, round barrel 150mm with swivelling sliding ejector rod beneath, Liege proved, the breech stamped “A. PLIERS BREVETE”, with separate disc behind the cylinder which revolves to reveal an aperture for loading, the breech, cylinder and frame deeply engraved with panels of vine leaves, and with chequered and carved walnut grips.
