Purdey & Sons", number 13536, 43¾" overall, barrels 28" with B'ham nitro proofs for 21 bore, the signed frame with scroll engraving and automatic top safety; the dark walnut stock having vacant oval escutcheon. GWO & C (some wear commensurate with use, the barrels with some external pitting at the muzzle); in its leather covered case with maker's trade label, containing a cleaning rod, wire bore brush, mop, and small leather pouch (the case externally very worn).
