Medals of Major James Forbes Jones (1878-1917) of the 7th Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders who was killed in action KIA aged 38 on 29th March 1917, commemorated at Staples Military Cemetery France, son of James Jones, of Towood Hall, Larbert, Stirlingshire, comprising WWI death plaque [JAMES FORBES JONES], WWI war medal and victory medal [MAJOR J F JONES] and 1914-15 star [CAPT J F JONES A&S HIGHRS], also an Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders 16th Inter Company Football Competition silver and enamel medal won by C  Company 1918.
