Chinese blue and white lidded baluster vase, Republic period, the dome cover with Dog of Foo finial and ringed dog handle prunts, decorated in underglaze blue with foliate and leaf designs, four character script mark to base, on a carved hardwood stand, on stand max H38cm.
Pitted throughout with a couple of areas of glazing/firing flaws. No visible signs of crazing. Smalll chip to the rim of the vase. The lid has chips to the edge that makes contact with the vase and also on the bottom edge that sits inside the vase. Wooden stand appears well.
