A good selection of some 46 Portsmouth standard-size postcards (all photographed in our four images), and two plain-backed photos. This lot includes 7 of Hilsea Lido and the immediate surrounding area; several views of Commercial Road including a tram in floodwater; the Carnegie Library at Fratton; Albert Road; the Portsmouth Harbour area including the wooden hulk HMS Vernon at sea; Kingston Cross (Crescent); the tram depot at Eastney; two North End street scenes; and the High Street, Old Portsmouth. There are some nice real photographic cards. Most of the cards are in good collectable condition – some have minor faults.
