'9th Nov 1911
My Dear Brother Charlie
I'm penning you a few lines now I've got to this side of the water. I had a most stormy passage and was very sick I am now getting around the corner. I arrived here late on Saturday and commenced work on Sunday. This is truly a great institution and wonderful memorial of the faith of dear Dr Moody'.
