Designed by David Gottlieb, the Allard Clipper was one of the first glassfibre bodied cars in the UK and one of the last to feature a dickey seat
Introduced in 1953, the year after Sydney Allard won the Monte Carlo Rally with his better known V8 sports car, the Clipper was powered by a 346 cc Villiers single cylinder engine driving one of the rear wheels Just 20 were made and only three survive world wide
